General Information
Processing varies slightly with different fruits, but all fruits are thoroughly washed prior to peeling or slicing. Once the preparation of the fruits is finished, they are placed on racks and put into the freeze dry machine. Water is then removed from the fruits through a process called sublimation. This process gives freeze dried fruits the ability to re-absorb water later on.

Bananas are one of the best sources of potassium, which helps maintain normal blood pressure and heart functions. Bananas also have Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, manganese, fiber, biotin, and copper.
