Robinson M. - General Manager (USA)
Robinson is the co-founder and general manager of Global Agricultural Trading who oversees all departments of business development, supply chain, marketing, the team, and more. Robinson is committed to visiting our team farmers and suppliers in South America every other month to work hand in hand to make sure we have top quality and fairly traded natural and organic foods. Robinson is a California State University of Northridge Business Management Major with a minor in International Business. Robinson is a native Colombian from Bogota but has lived in Los Angeles, CA since 1981. Robinson's hobbies include travel (when it's not work related), family, soccer, tennis, sports, and exploring new and exciting superfoods South America continues to provide.
Marvin B. - Assistant General Manager (USA)
Marvin is a California State University of Northridge Business Management Major. During his work at GAT, he has helped GAT open up offices across the globe and support their continuous expansion on the world stage. His tasks include strategic management, brand development, global supply chain management, marketing, procedure implementation, and creation. Through GAT he has helped build a competitive company that offers value to our clients that other companies can't match. When Marvin isn’t working he enjoys playing tennis in his free time.
Eun Jung K. - Business Development Manager (South Korea)
Mr. Eun Jung Kim (Jay Kim) is a Business Development Manager in South Korea responsible for operations in Asia. Mr. Kim holds a degree in International Economic and Business Administrations and has more than 10 years of experience in developing International business and transactions. He is a member of the Korea International Trade Association, known as the International Trading Specialist. His hobbies include playing golf, hiking, and reading the oriental humanities books with a cup of coffee.
Foad F. - Business Development Manager (Canada)
Lives in Ottawa, Ontario and has studied business administration and computer science. He is a project manager and has many years of experience in customer service management in a very large organization. Foad speaks English, French, Italian, and Farsi, and his hobbies include painting, soccer, and music.
Florent L. – Business Development Manager (France)
Florent holds a Masters in International Trade from the University of Marseille. He develops market opportunities within European countries such as France, Great Britain, Germany and the Netherlands. He currently assists Mr. Robinson Martinez in finding new customers for our large product lines. He often visits famous trade shows in Paris and Germany such as SIAL and ANUGA to meet wholesalers and distributors that are interested in our dried fruits and nuts. His hobbies include travel, family, and rugby, and is able to speak French, English, Spanish, and Italian.
Alejandro V. Business Development Manager (Colombia)
Alejandro is a Chemical Engineer with experience in the development, production and marketing of chemicals for industrial and institutional maintenance. Additionally he has developed expertise in the marketing of other products such as liquor, food, etc. Currently with GAT he manages the market in Colombia, identifying potential customers to market GAT's products. He represents GAT to major supermarkets, wholesalers, and several distributors. Alejandro’s hobbies include going on trips with his family, soccer, and music.
Cathy M. – Broker (Los Angeles)
Cathy is our food broker that specializes in the representation of Mexican/Hispanic food manufacturing companies. Her expertise allows her to represent manufacturing food companies in all parts of the world. She services both the retail and the food service industries. Cathy takes pride in growing the food products with care and attention.
Philip K. – Broker (East Coast)
Phil is based in Chicago, IL. and has worked for a major Chicago based HBC/HBA and Food broker for 10 years. Over the past 18 years his experience includes working with major regional and national retail chains. Including Walgreens, Super Value, Dollar Tree, Big Lots, Cardinal Health, and Jewel/Osco. His relationships have also included sales to foodservices, wholesalers, gourmet and specialty food distributors / producers. Phil has been involved with sales and marketing with over 50 manufacturers for specialty food products. These include companies from Spain, Egypt, Israel, Turkey, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Brazil, Columbia, Peru, Viet Nam, Canada, Mexico, and Japan, and the US. Categories of products include licensed and major internationally recognized brand names, control labels, and private label products as well as bulk ingredients. Phil has acted as a consultant for various food companies to help them gain access to the USA food market.
Kirk S. - Broker (North West)
Graduated in Food Science from the University of Washington. Kirk has worked in the food industry for more than 20 years, focusing on food safety and product development. For the past 13 years Kirk has been connecting, educating, and assisting food manufacturers with our food ingredients companies. His hobbies include tennis and travel.
